Meet Charley
BELFAST CNC
Charley Ulmschneider is a retired electrical engineer and a retired US Navy veteran. He has over 50 years of woodworking experience starting back in his father's shop; he now works in his new 38'x38' shop in Belfast Maine. This shop is fully equipped with all the standard stationary tools and recently he has purchased an Industrial CNC with a 4' x 8' cutting bed. He has designed in AutoCAD, ArtCam and Illustrator for over 15 years, designing furniture, houses, cabinets and shop fixtures. With the addition of the new CNC machine, intricate curved designs can be duplicated repetitively. The size of the machine allows material up to a full sheet of plywood that can be cut, drilled, dado cut, and rabbited in one operation.
